N.Y. – In an exciting
announcement, the 25th Anniversary
Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprint Season (ESS)
Opener from Black Rock Speedway, in Dundee,
N.Y., held on April 12, will be the first
episode of Hot Wings TV (HWTV) shown on Time
Warner Cable SportsNet
Channel 26 in the Greater Rochester Area.
Talk
about a track that has come so far in just a
very short amount of time. The Ohsweken
Speedway has gone from a simple hobby for one
Glenn Styres who decided to build a dirt track
in his own back yard back in 1996…Literally! To
one of Canada’s most successful facilities and
now is also Canada’s home of sprint car racing.

session from last weekend at Oswego. He tells
Doug about the lap times, how they improved with
each session and how much everyone is looking
forward to this first ever show on Saturday,

full point events on the 25th
Anniversary Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints (ESS)
will now be at least $2,000 to win! To go along
with many of the other special events dotting
the schedule, the teams will be vying for more
dollars than ever before.
Autodrome
Drummond is about 45 minutes North of Montreal
and this dirt track can boast the history of
being Quebec’s longest running dirt facility.
For well over 50 years, Drummond has been
playing host to some of the finest racing Quebec
fans have known and since 1984, the Lucas Oil
Empire Super Sprints (ESS) have been a part of
that history.
