Mike Stelter remembered his season in a Sprint Car as he attended the Empire Super Sprints Banquet on Saturday night. He talked two particular races that got away from him, described the pair of racecars he has back at the shop and wonders if an older car he has success with years ago might work out well at some of the slicker tracks.

Lance Yonge reacts to finishing second with the ESS and wonders how much he’ll race in 2010. He explained why he may have to scale back his efforts, remembered his win at the Fonda Speedway and described how his new car looks back at the shop.
Jeff Cook finished third in the ESS point standings and talked about the one that got away up at Can Am. He also remembered his big win at Ohsweken late in the year, described what he was thinking before he took the green flag in that race and thanked his very supportive wife.
Steve Poirier came home fourth with the ESS and talked about the need to upgrade some of his stuff. He explained why they thought the equipment he had from 2008 would be fine last year, talked about the hard work they are doing now to get back up to speed and remembered his 410 race at the end of the year.
Michael Parent told me about his fifth place finish with the ESS and how close he came to winning his first race on the series. He also remembered leading at Utica Rome, explained what happened when he was going for the lead at Drummondville and how tough it was to drive it without power steering.
