Shane Stewart Dominate in First Annual Can-Am Challenge at Autodrome Granby
GRANBY, QC – When the idea of putting on a big 360 sprint car event at the famed Autodrome Granby in Quebec was put into place, it attracted one of the best sprint car drivers anywhere. Bixby Oklanhoma’s Shane Stewart took the lead from Quebec native Alain Bergeron on lap 13 and never looked back in winning the first annual Can-Am Challenge.


Dain Naida and Shane Stewart Pick up Victories on Night 1 of Can-Am Challenge
GRANBY, QC- The first annual Can-Am Challenge at Autodrome Granby kicked off Friday night with two 15 lap preliminary feature events that were captured by Belleville, Michigan’s Dain Naida and Bixby, Oklahoma’s Shane Stewart. Not only did they collect $500 for their efforts by also guaranteed no worse than ninth and tenth place starting spot in Saturday night’s finale.

SYRACUSE, NY – After a very successful opening event on the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints (ESS) 2012 Tour where 35 sprinters invaded the Can-Am Motorsports Park, the attention now shifts to the first annual Can-Am Challenge at Autodrome Granby. Sam Reakes IV Holds Off Veterans in Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprint Opener at Can-Am
LAFARGEVILLE, NY - Sammy Reakes IV has only a handful of sprint car starts in his career but on Saturday night in the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprint opener at the Can-Am Motorsports Park the Fulton, N.Y., driver looked like a veteran as he held off a star-studded field of 35 drivers for his first ever victory in a sprint car.


Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints Announces Universal American Stars and Stripes Tour!
SYRACUSE, NY – In a major sponsorship agreement, Universal American based out of Rye Brook, NY will present the Stars and Stripes Tour for the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints (ESS). To join the Le Groupe Ultra Tour of Canada, all the full point events held in the United States will now carry a separate point fund.

Fondations 55 Join the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints for 2012
SYRACUSE, NY – In another major sponsorship announcement, Fondations 55 from Trios-Rivieres, Quebec has become the latest to join the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprint (ESS) sponsorship fold with two unique programs for 2012.

	Justin Barger remembered his first race of the year at the Fulton Speedway two weeks ago as well as some of his past at Can Am.

	Kory Gurney showed off his new 360 Sprinter, explained why they decided to change manufacturers and what condition it should do well at.

	Sam Reakes IV got reflective on his 12th place finish at Fulton, how good it was overall and explained why he decided to move from the top groove to the bottom.

	Lance Yonge had his new car at the track, thought back the days when his cars were always red and why he was hoping he was going to have a good day at Can Am.

	Shawn Donath described how his Sprint Car felt in hot laps at the Can Am opener and how close he came to flipping on the backstretch.

	Justin Barger told me about his win in the first heat in the ESS opener at Can Am and why he was not going to run in the dash for cash.

	Steve Poirier won the second heat at Can Am, explained why he was not too comfortable in traffic and the change he was going to make.

	Sam Reakes IV took the win in the final ESS heat, explained why he changed the way he drove with a few to go and reacted to how well his night was going.

	Chuck Hebing finished first in the Dash for Cash after placing second in his earlier heat race and spoke about trackside with Mike Mallett.

	Chuck Hebing spoke with ESS announcer Mike Mallet in victory lane about his second place finish in the A-Main at Can Am.

	Shawn Donath came home in third place in the A-Main and told the crowd as well as Mike Mallett how good his car was in the 25 lapper.

	Steve Poirier talked about his 4th place finish in the ESS A-Main at Can Am and how thankful he was he rethought some changes he was going to make.
